Dreamit Ventures and GuideWell Innovation are partnering to host a “Customer Sprint” event at the GuideWell Innovation Center on Tuesday, April 30. Dreamit’s HealthTech program is a 14-week growth-focused accelerator for early-stage companies. During weeklong “Customer Sprints” in multiple cities, a select group of founders with market-tested products present to C-suite executives and SVP-level decision makers to initiate partnerships, discuss pilots and potentially gain new customers.

The cohort of seven health tech companies, which were competitively selected from over four hundred applicants from cities around the world, will have the opportunity to pitch and potentially partner with key health care industry decision-makers from Central Florida.

“We are honored that Dreamit Ventures selected GuideWell Innovation to host its latest health tech cohort,” said Kirstie McCool, executive director of GuideWell Innovation. “Dreamit Ventures is recognized internationally as a top-10 accelerator, and the quality of companies in their portfolio is impressive.”

“Orlando has an extensive health care ecosystem and is one of the fastest growing technology entrepreneurship ecosystems in the country. As a result, we are bringing together an impressive group of executive health care leaders that span payers, providers and research institutions to participate in this exclusive event,” said McCool.

Dreamit decided to partner with GuideWell Innovation because of its focus on reimagining health and wellness through innovation and entrepreneurship. The GuideWell Innovation Center, which is located in Orlando’s Lake Nona Medical City, is led by veteran entrepreneurs and has hosted hundreds of health, investor and entrepreneurship events since opening its doors in 2016.

“The wealth of knowledge and health care expertise that GuideWell Innovation and the local health care executives participating in this customer sprint event will provide a great opportunity for feedback and exposure for the Dreamit companies,” said Adam Dakin, managing director, Dreamit Ventures HealthTech. “We’re looking forward to bringing these innovative startups to Orlando’s forward-thinking medical community.”
